How to get ready in less than 10 mins!

Somehow every morning I manage to snooze enough to only leave 20mins to get ready for work. But after my shower and change of clothes provided that this all goes smoothly I then have 10 mins to do my make-up and eat breakfast and often it is only one thing that gets done, which in my case is make-up.
So this post is dedicated to my fellow time optimists. That is the people in this world that believe that everything can be done in 10 mins or less. For example;
- "I'll leave my house in 10 mins" - not having had a shower or being anywhere near ready.
- "I will go to bed in 10 mins" - Still having 5 mins left to watch of Grey's Anatomy and not having brushed, washed my faced, prayed or anything else that needs to be done before.
- "I'm at T-centralen and I will meet you outside Globen in 10 mins" not giving room for anything to go wrong or the walking distance from the station to the actual venue.
So if you recognise yourself in any of these then you surely are in the right place. And if you don't keep up the hard work and feel free to share your get ready quick tips with us.
Now here are some tips to keep you optimists looking great without having to make a complete turnaround.
1. Make sure you know what your absolute "must make up articles" are and focus on them. For instance with a good Base,mascara and some lipstick you can create a complete look in just a few minutes.

2. Complexion perfection- the 2 P's Prep and Prime! With good skin and a great primer your skin will look flawless so anything else you put on will just be extra. For instance Estelle & Thild's organic skincare range really moisturises and is really light and also a great base for make up. Also M.A.Cs primer for different types of skin bases gives you a luxurious and glowing look.
P.S. Just make sure you know if you're a red or yellow base!
3. Eyes can be your worst enemy. In the morning it is the main thing that will reveal if you've had enough sleep or not. So start with a good concealer under your eyes and on your eyelids. While your at it you can extend the concealer to cover up any blemishes you may have.
Elle.com did a really cool selfie testing for undereye concealers and ranked Laura Merciers Street Camouflage at the top. Click on Elle.com to read their tests and findings.

4.You may be tempted to complement your now perfect looking skin with some contouring but lets be honest this will take way more than 10 mins so keep it simple and give your cheeks some colour with a nice blusher.

5. Complete your look with some eye popping lipstick. Why not try the Bobbi Brown lip colour which is a combination of a lip-liner and lipstick. Brilliant idea isn't it?!

Despite all of this self imposed stress I still manage to make it to work on time and somehow get secretly mad at the bus driver for being slow when in fact he's driving at the right pace and giving myself a pat on the back when I do make it on time and still looking OK despite all the stress and havoc.
So I hope you too can give yourself a pat on the back after trying these 5 tips and let us know what you think!
